It's only fear that makes you run.

Fight tomorrow what held you down today.

Because the eye of the liar will make you burn in desire.

Fear not what you don't yet understand, because that scar will teach a lesson you'll never forget.

I mean, ignite the night if it's worth the light--see if the stove is on.

I'm trying to explain that I've been there before and I don't want to go back again.

These demons believin' the worst part of me; it's blasphemy.

But, why worry--most things don't matter.

Do it.

Thinking back Pontiac

[my sister bought a Chevy]

*cold shoulder*
followed by a head tilt to 45 degrees
I'm looking left with a sly smile
and a glint in my eyes-
[I'm reminiscing!]- Jenna was a Pontiac! And looking back-- I'd give anything just to have my baby back. She was black-- that Pontiac-- black on black-- MAN, I WISH I HAD MY JENNA BACK-- and that's why I'll never EVER drive a chevy or ever drive a ford. I'd rather walk or bike until I can afford what my heart first fell in love with- --it was Mrs. Jones-- she's the one I first adored-- when she roared-- stop light street fight? The legend of Mrs. Jones still shines at night! What I'm saying is, "Mamma's! Don't Let Your Babies Grow up to Drive Chevy's!"

A technical term for a lot of water where it shouldn't be.

Power is "A getting B to do C".

That's the only equation
you need for persuasion.

(Power comes in many forms)
Persuasive power
Coercive power
Influential power
Hard power
Soft power
Real power

(However, if you must rely on coercive power- you really have none at all)

Money is power, knowledge is power.
Muscles are power, eyes can be power.
(A smile, even, can be a power source).

The Sinister Minister once told me,
that power is addictive, if it's ever for free.
(Absolute power breeds absolute corruption.)

The allocation of power is a dirty dirty job.
(It's why I'm here baby!)

Don't Stumble as you Tumble

My house of cards has come tumbling down.

The cards were stacked so neatly,

So discretely

I had them in place.

Placed so well that no one could tell

what I was hiding or even

all that I was showing.

Because I practice slight of hand,

slight of face
